Peru

We are so excited to be partnering with Glenn & Julissa Jones. They feel God-called and have offered us the privilege of being their host ministry as they go. What a privilege to serve with these amazing servants of God! They have had "feet on the ground" in Peru since end of 2014 and we want to do all we can to help them in this vision. Glenn has served as a pastor for a local church here in Jones County and had been on numerous trips to Peru both on mission and in planning for this call. Julissa is a native Peruvian and has a passion for her home and the people of Peru that they might know Christ. Much of the prior "church" work done in the area where they are living has been to build up religion and traditions and not the cause of Christ. They expect many trials as they continue in this calling, but feel blessed, knowing they go in the hands of the Most High God. 

We are thrilled to be partnering with Tuckers Crossing Baptist Church as well. This is Glenn and Julissa's home church and they have been the primary financial supporters of this mission. However, if you would like to be involved in their support, we are also praying that God would raise up 20 "foundation" givers. In order for them to have their base of support, we need 20 individuals, churches or organizations to sponsor them $100 per month. This would be the foundation of their support. These would be faithful givers who would be the financial backbone of this mission. On top of that, we would receive special gifts and love offerings to supplement their monthly needs. Please prayerfully consider giving as God leads you. They will also have some one-time needs for travel, initial preparations on their lodging and food. 

We hope to continue to partner with Glenn and Julissa, not only financially or by making their needs known locally, but also through annual mission trips to assist them in their ongoing work. Begin praying in faith NOW about possibly going to Peru in the upcoming years. We know in faith that they will be there. Will you consider in faith about joining them?

Also, they plan to make annual trips back to the States. I would encourage you to have them come share at your church about God's specific calling on their lives, their work over the past few years and just to hear their heart for this mission and for these people.
